October’s full moon is known as the Harvest Moon. With Kitimat finally experiencing clear skies, it was my opporunity to shoot, mainly with my new Sony 400-800 lens.

I captured the full Harvest Moon rising on the evening of October 7. This is a colour image. October 8 was cloudy with sunny breaks and overcast at night. The morning of October 9 dawned clear.
