Kitimat Firefighter Paramedics – IAFF Local 1304 defeated the Kitimat RCMP Detachment Saturday, February 21, 7–3 in the annual Showdown in Snowtown Classic, also known across the province as Guns and Hoses Game. The charity game raised $25,000 for the Kitimat Fire Ladder of Hope Charity. After a tight first two periods, the firefighters pulled ahead with four unanswered goals in the third.
