Portrait of a raven

A portrait of a raven. (Robin Rowland)

On May 30, as I was driving back from Prince Rupert, it was raining.  I usually stop at the Telegraph Creek rest stop and that day was no different.  I got out of the car and there was a raven perched on the Skeena River side of the shelter.  It was if the raven was waiting for me.  Waiting to have its portrait photographed.  I approached and stood just outside the shelter. The raven let me take it portrait for almost ten minutes. Then as the rain eased it off, it flew off, down the  Skeena River.
